Pacer Accountants is locally owned, employs local people, and assists the local community.
Evan has a young and busy family, so is regularly spotted on the sidelines of soccer fields and netball courts on the weekend. He is passionate about both sports and loves the positive impact they can play in young people’s lives. He is a Newcastle Jets and Liverpool FC fan, so can range anywhere from “absolutely buzzing” to “devastated” when he gets in the office on Monday mornings.
Carol enjoys the increased freedom that comes with having young adult children. She is a member of the “mighty” Wests Tigers and you will find her at most home games. She loves musical theatre, visiting her children in Melbourne and travelling. At home Carol enjoys time with her husband & friends, a good book or movie and loves hot chocolate.
Away from the office, Leanne and her husband enjoy camping and are planning exciting trips to destinations all over Australia. She is a fan of a wide range of sports and enjoys playing golf on her day off.
In her free time you will find Jenny anywhere from the Williams River (where there are no sharks apparently!) enjoying water sports, to sitting in a comfortable chair with a good book, or taxiing her two boys to their many extra curriculum activities.
Away from the office, Kay enjoys playing percussion and spending time with her husband and their fur baby “Batman”.
Our founders:
Pacer Accountants was formerly known as Williamson Chaseling, a firm established by David Williamson and Bill Chaseling. Together, they created a firm that has serviced clients at a high standard for many years and across many generations for some of those clients.
At Pacer Accountants we are very proud of our heritage and have great respect for Bill and David.
Bill semi-retired in June, 2017 to spend more time with his ever-growing family and he has taken on grand parenting like a pro and we all enjoy the photo and video updates of his young brood. If he is not with the family, he is quite often sailing Lake Macquarie, be it for pleasure or twilight racing on Friday evening.
Bill worked hard for a long time building this firm, so we are all thrilled to see him enjoying some well-earned quality time (finally) with his loved ones.
David was a well-respected member of the community and the profession. He was a great leader and a great man who enjoyed sharing his travel stories and tips and was quite the fussy customer when it came to the ideal flat white.
